Earth Day Denim Drive — Back for Year Two!

April 15–22 at Porter Square Shopping Center

Cambridge & Somerville you made last year’s denim recycling celebration such an amazing success that we’re bringing it back!

Join us for our 2nd Annual Earth Day Denim Drive, a week‑long community effort to keep worn denim out of landfills and give it a whole new purpose.

This year, we’re once again teaming up with Cotton’s Blue Jeans Go Green™ program to transform your well‑loved jeans into sustainable materials like insulation, pet beds, and more. It’s the perfect mix of spring cleaning + planet‑loving energy.

How You Can Participate

Drop off your old denim at Tag’s Ace Hardware or Cafe Zing between April 15–22. Any denim works — torn, faded, too‑snug, or out of style, but please check that denim is 90%+ cotton!

When you recycle, you’ll also receive a limited‑edition Earth Day tote bag as our thank‑you for helping reduce textile waste. While supplies last.

In this quarterly series, a professional herbalist from the Boston School of Herbal Studies, will guide attendees through a specific formulation, offering suggestions for substitutions to meet tailored needs.

Each tea night will have a theme- join them all or pick the ones that resonate most with your needs and health goals.
